Medicine in tincture form costs approx. £6 per week. Creams, teas, oils and capsules may cost extra.
During this time an in-depth consultation, designed to enable the herbalist to construct a comprehensive view of the patient's situation, will take place. The aims of this consultation are to provide information to identify imbalances in the different body systems and the effects this has on the patient physically and emotionally. Blood pressure will be taken, along with any other physical examniations deemed appropriate at the time.
Follow-up consultations last around 30 mins. They are a chance to review progress and formulate a treatment strategy for the future. It is my intention to encourage patients to take an active role in their own healing process and their input is gratefully received.
Be assured that at all times you will be listened to, respected and involved in your own treatment process. My role is to provide guidance and use my knowledge to select suitable remedies for you.
Herbal medicine is made up according to the patient's requirements and costs around £8 per week. This includes the cost of the medicine itself, dispensing and packaging. Medicine is most often given in the form of a liquid tincture taken daily, however capsules, creams, oils and teas may also be prescribed. If you do not take alcohol and would prefer herbs in a different form, this may be arranged using glycerites or syrups instead.
