A little bit about Pam:
Pam Montgomery is the originator of Green Terrestrial Herbal Products of Vermont and was one of the founding members of the Northeast Herbal Association where she served as their president for four years. For a decade, Pam was on the Executive Council of the Board of Directors of United Plant Savers, an organization dedicated to preservation of our native medicinal plants. Pam has been organizing the Green Nations Gathering for nineteen years and has presented the Spirit Healing Conference and the Healing With Flowers Conference. She teaches workshops internationally on herbal medicine, Plant Spirit Healing, and spiritual ecology. Pam is the author of “Plant Spirit Healing; A Guide to Working with Plant Consciousness” and “Partner Earth; A Spiritual Ecology”, and a contributing author in “Planting the Future”.

Plant Spirit Healing with Pam Montgomery in the UK

Pam Montgomery, author of "Plant Spirit Healing: A Guide to working with Plant Conciousness", is coming to the UK to deliver her teachings on plant spirit medicine in April 2010. This will be Pam's first workshop in the UK and I am very excited to be helping her to organise this event.
Plant spirit medicine is growing in popularity around the world and is fast gaining recognition as an important mode of healing here in the West. If you feel drawn to nature and energy healing, this workshop will allow you to explore this relationship further under Pam's expert guidance.

Course content will be as follows:
Plants are the most successful organisms on the planet and unlike animals, including humans, have the unique ability to create food, oxygen and tissue from sunlight. The latest scientific research shows that they are intelligent beings who have the capacity to store enormous amounts of information while being highly efficient in communicating and making decisions. Indigenous healers have known this about plants for centuries and have recognized that it is actually the spirit of the plants that does the communicating and healing.

During this three day intensive we will explore both science and traditional knowledge to learn how to communicate with plants and translate their message. Through entering the daydream of the plant and through traditional dream journeying we will come to understand the spirit of the plant and how it can serve as a guide, ally and friend helping us in our lives and other’s with everything from serious physical illness to making decisions in our lives to bringing a greater sense of well being. Join us as we learn how to align with the plants and listen deeply.
This experiential long weekend will include:

• receiving the resonant signature of the plant through felt sense
• building relationship with plants through sensual awareness
• communication through light, sound and breath
• stepping into the daydream of plants
• Spiritual Plant Bathing
• receiving a personal plant ally
• traditional shamanic journeying
• “Greenbreath” combines transformational breathwork with focused plant breathing
• deepening already existing relationships with plants for efficient effective treatments
