A Steiner School for Lincoln?

I am excited to be part of the Lincoln Steiner Project which aims to open a new Steiner inspired School in Lincoln.
We already have a great deal of support and taken steps towards consulting the wider community by publishing a questionnaire to investigate public opinion. Steiner education has a holistic approach which takes account of the spiritual, emotional and academic development of the child. This seems to me to be a balanced approach to education, inspiring creativity and free thinking which is something I would love for my own children. Steiner education also pays great attention to the natural world in it's teaching which I think is crucial for the future of our world. As a herbalist I try to be in tune with the seasons and rhythms of the year as this often informs my practice by offering herbs seasonally.
